WHY IS MY WATER PRESSURE LOW?

First, check everything in the home such as toilets, faucets, water softener, water heater. Second, check outside hydrants, and any other water delivery sources. If you are unable to determine the problem, we will be glad to send a service man out to help you locate the leak.

WHY IS MY WATER RED/RUSTY COLORED?

Water can become discolored from iron deposits breaking loose in the water lines. It is safe to drink, but you should not launder white clothing. If you have laundered clothes, DO NOT DRY THEM. Please call our office to let us know when you experience this issue. We have complimentary rust remover for use on WHITE clothing.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LOCKED FOR NON-PAY, AND MAKE PAYMENT AFTER OFFICE HOURS?

NO AFTER-HOUR TURN ONS

Payment can be made through Invoice-Cloud online, or the drop box by our front door. Service will be restored the following morning, after 8:00 A.M. No exceptions.

IS SEWER AND/OR TRASH INCLUDED WITH MY WATER BILL?

Callaway County Water District provides water service only. Trash and sewer are handled by separate providers, depending on your location.

WATER LINE RESPONSIBILITY

The Water District owns and maintains all water mains, valves, fire hydrants, and service lines up to the water meter. The owner of the property is responsible for any water lines between the water meter and their business or home.
